Jessica has her Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from the University of Central Oklahoma.

She has played in various settings in the United States as well as Europe. Because of her diverse background and travels, Jessica is inspired by many cultures and brings new perspectives to every performance.  

Jessica was not only awarded a research grant from the University of Central Oklahoma for her work on Synesthesia, but she also received First Place at the College Music Society Competition 2012 for her composition, The Spectrum Suite for solo piano and watercolor painting. She has composed several other works for piano and strings and continues to write music today.

 

Jessica received her NCTM designation upon completion of her national certification in 2018. She is an active Music Teachers National Association member and currently serves as the President of her local chapter, Central Oklahoma Music Teachers Association. She is also the Auditions & Competitions Co-Chair, which serves on the Executive Board of the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association. Jessica also instructs and serves on the Board of Kamp Keyboard.

Jessica was recently named the 2025 MTNA Fellow Award recipient for Oklahoma. She will be accepting this award in Minneapolis, MN at the MTNA National Award Gala in March 2025.

Jessica has been teaching piano since 2009. She is passionate about helping students gain confidence in their music and helping them grow their creativity.  

She has completed an intensive internship in Piano Pedagogy alongside her performance degree at the University of Central Oklahoma and has many approaches to bring to each lesson.  

Jessica believes that each student learns differently and that each student deserves to be heard and instructed according to their learning and creative style.

 Jessica works consistently to build the most effective environment for her students to grow confidence as thriving artists, no matter their age or experience.

She enjoys martial arts and currently competes in Muay Thai & Kickboxing. When she's not in the studio or making music, she is in the gym training for her next match.
